What approvals are needed to build a swimming pool?
Building approval – your chosen pool builder will produce plans and specs, in conjunction with an Engineer, for approval. It is also their responsibility to submit the forms with your local council, via a Private Certifier and the appropriate statutory authorities.
Structural stability- Prior to approval, your local area government or personal certifier will need detailed plans from your pool builder and their Engineer, to guarantee that the swimming pool will be structurally sound.
